The Peypers

In 1991, Valerie and Wynand Peypers came to the Mayana area around Rundu in the Caprivi Strip from their native Grootfontein and bought the land on which they are now operating their „N’Kwazi Lodge“ (Fish Eagle Lodge). Instead of fixing bits and pieces, they decided in 1993 to tear down the existing structures and start building again from scratch.
The grand opening came in 1995, and this was also when the Peypers’ first charitable project, the Community Dance, started.
N’Kwazi Lodge with its beautiful setting by the Okavango river has been operating successfully ever since and is just in the process of enlarging their facilities to be able to cater for the growing demands.
